Terms of Service

Effective date: 1 May 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RYZEplatform (“Service”) operated by RYZE(“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RYZE (available at https://www.getryze.app), you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity (“Organisation”), you represent that you have the authority to bind that Organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

RYZE is an AI-powered recruiting and HR operations platform designed for technology consultancies. The Service includes the following features:

  • AI Candidate Sourcing: Real-time LinkedIn profile search surfacing hundreds of matching candidates in under 60 seconds.
  • AI Scoring & Ranking: Automated scoring of candidates using Claude AI based on fit, experience, and culture signals.
  • Hiring Pipeline: Kanban-style pipeline for tracking candidates across recruitment stages (Applied, Screening, Interview, Offer, Hired/Rejected).
  • Candidate Profiles: Detailed candidate profiles including contact enrichment, LinkedIn data, AI recommendations, and match scores.
  • Task Assignments: Skill-based task templates that can be assigned to candidates; candidates submit responses through the employee portal.
  • Calendar & Vacation Management: Team calendar supporting vacation requests, HR approval workflows, and meeting scheduling with optional Google Calendar two-way sync.
  • Email Outreach: AI-assisted email drafting and sending to candidates and team members via the Emails module.
  • AI Chat Assistant: Conversational AI assistant powered by Claude for HR and recruiting queries with access to pipeline and company context.
  • Team Management: Role-based access control (Super Admin, HR Manager, Tech Lead, Employee) with invite-based onboarding.
  • Employee Portal: Self-service portal for employees to view task assignments, submit work, manage time-off requests, and access company information.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Accounts & Access

To use the Service you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@getryze.app of any unauthorised use of your account.

Each Organisation is provisioned a single workspace. Users within the Organisation are assigned roles by the Super Admin. Role-based permissions control access to sensitive features such as candidate data, billing, and HR approvals. You are responsible for ensuring that role assignments are appropriate and that access is revoked promptly when a user leaves.

RYZE offers a 7-day free trial upon registration. Trial accounts have limited sourcing and candidate quotas as specified on the pricing page.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights, including data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Collect, store, or process candidate personal data without a lawful basis or for purposes beyond legitimate recruitment.
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform by automated means other than through our official API.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
  • Transmit malware, spam, or any harmful content.
  • Use AI-generated outputs to discriminate against candidates on the basis of protected characteristics.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when communicating with candidates.
  • Share your account credentials with third parties outside your Organisation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access immediately for violations of this section.

5. AI-Powered Features

RYZEuses large language models, including Anthropic’s Claude, to power candidate scoring, AI outreach drafting, and the AI chat assistant. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated outputs (scores, recommendations, drafted messages) are suggestions only and do not constitute professional advice. All hiring decisions remain your sole responsibility.
  • AI models may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected results. You must independently verify any material information before acting on it.
  • You must not use AI scoring or recommendations as the sole basis for excluding candidates where such reliance would violate anti-discrimination laws or employment regulations in your jurisdiction.
  • Content you submit to AI features (search queries, job descriptions, candidate notes) may be processed by third-party AI providers. See Section 7 (Third-Party Integrations) and our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Data & Candidate Information

Your data. Data you upload or create within the Service (company profiles, candidate records, job descriptions, task submissions, meeting notes) remains yours. We process it solely to provide and improve the Service.

Candidate data. The Service enables you to source and store publicly available candidate data from LinkedIn and other sources. You are the data controller for candidate personal data. You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have a lawful basis (e.g. legitimate interest) for processing candidate data.
  • Providing required data-subject notices to candidates.
  • Honouring data subject access, correction, and deletion requests.
  • Retaining candidate data only for as long as necessary.

We act as a data processor on your behalf for candidate data. Our data processing obligations are set out in our Data Processing Agreement, available on request.

Google Calendar data. If you connect Google Calendar, we store OAuth tokens and sync calendar events. You may disconnect this integration at any time from Settings; upon disconnection tokens are deleted.

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with the following third-party providers:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI language model for scoring, drafting, and chat.
  • Evaboot / LinkedIn — candidate profile sourcing and email enrichment.
  • Google APIs — Google Calendar OAuth integration.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery.

Each provider operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers but we select and contractually bind them to appropriate data protection standards where required.

8. Subscriptions & Billing

After the 7-day free trial, continued access to paid features requires an active subscription. Subscription tiers, pricing, and feature limits are described on the Pricing page.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance.
  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, etc.) unless stated otherwise.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no pro-rata refunds are issued.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of new pricing.
  • Overdue payments may result in suspension of access until outstanding balances are settled.

9. Intellectual Property

RYZE and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including all software, design, trademarks, and AI models. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights.

You grant RYZE a limited, non-exclusive licence to use your data solely to provide the Service, including training or improving internal models using anonymised and aggregated data only — we will never use individually identifiable candidate records to train AI models without explicit consent.

Outputs generated by the AI features (drafted emails, candidate summaries) are provided to you for your use. You are responsible for ensuring such use complies with applicable laws.

10. Confidentiality

Each party may receive confidential information of the other party in connection with the Service. “Confidential Information” means any non-public information that is designated as confidential or that reasonably should be understood to be confidential given the nature of the information and the circumstances of disclosure.

Each party agrees to: (a) hold the other party’s Confidential Information in strict confidence; (b) not disclose it to third parties without prior written consent; and (c) use it only as necessary to exercise rights or perform obligations under these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, nor that AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RYZE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) €100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate by ceasing use of the Service and closing your account. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, if you materially breach these Terms.

Upon termination: your right to use the Service ceases immediately; we will retain your data for up to 30 days to allow you to export it, after which it will be deleted subject to our legal retention obligations. Sections relating to IP, confidentiality, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the laws of the jurisdiction in which RYZE is registered. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer located in the EU, you may also have rights under the applicable consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice in the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance.
